LIFE SIZE IBEX

DESCRIPTION

This striking life size Ibex is inspired by the resident Ibex found in the Swiss Alps. Florentine Sculptor Vincenzo Romanelli spent many days in the mountains studying this majestic king of the Alps in its natural habitat. The Ibex was modelled in clay using pictures taken by Vincenzo, and then cast in bronze in the Florentine foundry, following the traditional lost-wax technique. Life size Ibex is a limited edition of 9 pieces, signed, dated and numbered.
