SNOW STOAT

DESCRIPTION

This bronze sculpture by Vincenzo Romanelli captures an alpine stoat fleeing with its prey in a snow storm. Vincenzo was inspired to sculpt the stoat after an encounter in the Swiss Alps. The snow stoat was modelled in clay by Vincenzo and then cast in bronze at the Florentine foundry following the traditional lost-wax techniques. The patina reflects the true markings of the alpine mammal. Snow Stoat is a limited edition of 12 pieces, each signed, numbered and dated.
