MARMOT

DESCRIPTION

This is an original bronze sculpture by Vincenzo Romanelli created in 2019, having studied the resident marmots in the Swiss Alps. The piece captures the moment a marmot spotted Vincenzo in the distance. The alpine mammal was modelled in clay by Vincenzo, and then cast in bronze at the Florentine foundry following traditional lost-wax techniques. Marmot is a limited edition of 12 pieces, signed, numbered and dated.
